More Fun

In a Class of 3000! Celebration and Giveaway

It’s been less than a year since we celebrated the Generation T Facebook community growing to a whopping 2000 members (and slightly more than a year since we hit 1000 strong), and as of a Monday morning a couple of weeks ago in September, now we have some more nice round numbers to cheer for.

In honor of the milestone, and in thanks for your support of this growing community, I’m giving away one book per thousand Facebook fans (for the math-challenged that’s a total of three books from the Generation T library!). To enter, just share your favorite T-shirt refashion project in the comments either here on the blog or on the Generation T Facebook page before 12:00 noon (that’s EST) on Saturday October 15. Just one entry per person, please! I’ll randomly select the three winners and announce them over the weekend. (Winners will get to choose which book they receive as a prize!)

And please, keep spreading the T-shirt love by sending your DIY-minded friends to the Facebook page — there are many more milestone celebrations to be had!

xo,
Megan/Generation T

My fav is hard to say, however I like the Travel Skirt (I don’t have my book in front of me right now so that may not be the exact name), and I also love royal flush!

  2. Patricia Huntley says:

I love the wedding dress! I haven’t made it yet but I am thinking about making one soon! Although I am already married so I am going to do a different color and just have fun with it!

  3. Gina says:

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE both the flapper dress and the wedding dress in the 1st book. They are both so elegant! What I love most about t-shirt reconstruction is how comfortable the projects are!! 🙂 Yay!

    Hi Megan
Congrats on reaching 3000 Likes on facebook 🙂

I love wearing scarves and they are my favorite accessories,so its hard to pick just one T-shirt refashion project. I love the T-shirt Boa scarf, the hooded scarf and the ones you showed us how to make on threadbanger:D

  5. Claire says:

hmm…my favorite is either best of 2 tees or the patchwork quilt!!! I have made both! 🙂

  6. ME says:

Don’t have a book handy for the official name but I like the one where you cut two shirts up the middle and frankenstein them together to make two new shirts.

  7. Ginger Cathcart says:

I love all the projects I have seen but especially the scarves. I volunteer for a thrift store that benefits domestic violence, sexual assault and victims of other crimes and they get so many t-shirts that no one seems to want. I take them and make them in to scarves!

  8. Jessica says:

love the mohawk mo’rock hat, need to make some more!

  9. Lizbeth says:

I can’t pick a single favorite project because they’re all so awesome, but my favorite project that I’ve done is the braided rug. I made one for my mother and love how it came out, I’m thinking about making another one for myself for my room!
