Shrug Life

There’s a brilliantly popular T-shirt reconstruction that’s been making the rounds over at CutOutandKeep (posted by EVEnl) that I think is super clever. The results are so cute, I decided to make one myself! Check out the tutorial here. And here are my results!

I really like that shrug too, but there’s one thing I don’t understand–are the ribbons supposed to come out the bottom of the thread, or is the tunnel supposed to stop at the corners in the middle? The instructions lead me to believe that the ribbons are supposed to come out the bottom, but in the picture, it looks like they come out the middle, or that there are supposed to be two ribbons at once, one going along the bottom of the shrug, one along the top, and meeting in the middle. At any rate, I’m not even sure I have the body for that shrug, but I’m curious anyway……and I’d hate to make a mistake and ruin a T-shirt.
